Year end ramblings...

USA, idiotic gun violence and not much is done about it. Over 500 gang related killings in Chicago during 2012, all using firearms.
USA, the so called fiscal cliff...outdated tax structure, the solution is simple, re-direct the incredibly high military spending to some more useful endeavors.
Russia, Changed their adoption laws, 40,000 orphans in state run institutions, diminishing population numbers, about time they come up with a solution.
Canada, more troubles with native complaints and the wonderful province of Quebec, nothing new.
Syria, more murders and the conflict goes on, it must end soon, it would have already but no oil interests to defend by the 5 sisters.
Germany, and the Euro, the Brits are rather smug about not having any part of the euro scene and the present need for a bail out...mostly to be financed by the Germans.
India, the worlds largest democracy must undergo a few changes an improvement and change for freedom and protection of women, very much in need of change, now.

Same old scenes, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran as well and the ongoing Palestinian/ Israel troubles.
